Hi guys,
I've just applied a patch to fontconfig in Ubuntu to mark the fontconfig and
fontconfig-config binary packages 'Multi-Arch: foreign'; this indicates, per
<https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MultiarchSpec>, that they will satisfy the
dependencies of packages from other architectures when they're installed.
Since it's perfectly safe to tag packages as Multi-Arch: foreign in advance
of a package manager that's capable of understanding this (which should be
along soon in any case), I request that this be set on the packages in
Debian as well.
