Package: coreutils
Version: 6.10-6

% date -d 2008-10-19
date: invalid date `2008-10-19'

This happens with 5.97 and 6.10.

I've just sent this to bug-coreutils as well.

thanks

As Andreas Schwab pointed out, that particular date really doesn't exist
in the time zone that the reporter of this bug was probably using. Hence
the "invalid date" error is actually correct and not a bug.
