What "long listing format" means is never described. Since this format
is not obvious should be described briefly in the man page. An example
of where it is not obvious is for permissions other than read, write,
and execute.

I contacted the submitter of this bug, who said he didn't realize the
man page was generated from the output of --help. As such, it seems the
Texinfo manual information is sufficient, and I'm therefore closing this
bug as "wontfix".
