Package: fontconfig
Version: 2.6.0-3
Severity: important
Yesterday I upgraded to fontconfig 2.6.0-2 and suddenly the fixed font
is lost in fontconfig based apps like gnome terminal.
I installed the -3 version but it didn't fix the problem.
This is disturbing, is there a way to fix that?
Thanks and all the best
Norbert

This is an issue about disabling bitmap fonts by default. As in the
conversation the reporter has solved his problem on fontconfig part.
@Norbert,
It has been years (since 2005), if the problem in gnome-terminal still
bothers you, let me know and I'll help report it to gnome-terminal. But
I guess it won't.
