It has ways to select fonts depending on the glyphs to display and some fallback algorithms. What you see is the result of this font selection: it's probably using a given font for latin characters and a different one for the other ones. There is however not much iceweasel can do about it. It pretty much depends on the installed fonts and the fontconfig configuration. Mike
