As of today, YouTube downloads the previously worked with the same
version of youtube-dl now fail. This pretty clearly points at recent
YouTube site changes, e.g.
$ youtube-dl 'http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-V3588lNWVg'
[youtube] Setting language
[youtube] -V3588lNWVg: Downloading video webpage
[youtube] -V3588lNWVg: Downloading video info webpage
[youtube] -V3588lNWVg: Extracting video information
ERROR: no fmt_url_map or conn information found in video info
Please also see this very recent upstream bug, wherein the same error is

One commenter noted that another YouTube downloader also failed around
the same time, providing further confirmation it is likely a YouTube
site issue.
