After some weeks off my regular workstation, I came back from DebConf
and worked a day as usual. After some time, I upgraded the machine
(running unstable). Next login, pidgin no longer connects to the SILC
network!

Why?

Yes, sorry, my bad - I replied enraged looking at your first line
without looking at the second.

So, I humbly bow my head and close this bug. If SILC support is
accepted again, great. But you were right when closing the bug, and I
don't want to litter the BTS.

...Maybe this should just be mentioned in NEWS.Debian, mainly thinking
about people updating a future stable release?
