I use dotlockfile as a replacement for lockfile, because it supports
PID-bound locks.
lockfile per default retries forever. I'd like to have that in dotlockfile.
"dotlockfile -r10000" doesn't look nice.
Making it the default would be even better.
Maybe make it the default for PID-bound locks?

The bug you filed has been fixed in 1.09-1, but I misspelled the
closes: line in the changeslog, so I'm closing manually now.
1.09-1 and -2 had some other small problems, 1.09-3 has just been
uploaded and should fix all remaining issues. Thanks.
