Hi,
My system crash and leave /var/run/gpm.pid file. After reboot, gpm and
gpm -k alway coredump. After removing /var/run/gpm.pid, gpm and gpm -k work.
To reproduce it, run "/etc/init.d/gpm start" and kill with SIGKILL gpm process.
Then gpm -k will segv.

As of gpm 1.20.4-4, we no longer use 'gpm -k' in the init script. This
was done to improve Policy compliance for init script return values,
but should also fix this bug.
