For no particular reason the internal structure for holding $TERM
appears to be limited to 20 characters.
This makes logging in with TERM=xrvt-unicode-256color impossible,
resulting in this error: "$TERM too long - sorry."

The two merged bugs #621804 (Cannot start screen with len($TERM)>20:
$TERM too long - sorry) and #630976 (rxvt-unicode-256color: TERM is
too long for gnu screen) have been fixed in the recent upload to
experimental by the addition of the patch 50increase-max-TERM-length
-- The supported terminal length has now been risen to 40 bytes.
The patch has been taken from a posting to upstream's -devel mailing
list, but has not yet been included in upstream's git repository.
