Subject: openbox: Segmentation fault on start up
Package: openbox
Version: 3.4.11.1-1
Severity: important
*** Please type your report below this line ***
Openbox segfaults on start up due to a missing dependency when run against
libglib2.0
version 2.28.0. I chased the problem down to the failed creation of a
regular
expression in the function parse_expand_tilde() in parse.c. The failed
creation
results in many statements like
GLib-CRITICAL **: g_regex_unref: assertion `regex != NULL' failed
and similar. I was able to get openbox to run again by upgrading the
package libpcre3
to the version in unstable (8.12-2).
Thanks,
Chris
