There is a new upstream version 1.1pre14. According to the changelog :
"Added the file welcome_fr.html sent by Iznogood"
which fixed a problem I'm experiencing (getting "Erreur dans
l'ouverture du message de bienvenue (fichier
"/usr/share/doc/wordtrans-data/welcome_fr.html").") when going to
Introduction in French.
Uploading it would fix that.
