Package: network-manager-gnome
Version: 0.6.6-4
Severity: normal

It appears that /etc/xdg/autostart/nm-applet.desktop starts for my
gnome-session. As I am just a
normal user,

$ id daniel
uid=1001(daniel) gid=1001(daniel) groups=24(cdrom),29(audio),1001(daniel)

this doesn't have enough privileges and complains (in ~/.xsession-errors):
---snip---
** (nm-applet:5026): WARNING **: <WARN>  nma_dbus_init(): could not acquire its
service.
dbus_bus_acquire_service() says: 'Connection ":1.33" is not allowed to own the
service
"org.freedesktop.NetworkManagerInfo" due to security policies in the
configuration file'
---snip---

*every 5 seconds*. One warning would be plenty, followed by an exit of
nm-applet.

regards,
Daniel Skorka
