Package: icedove
Version: 2.0.0.9-2
Severity: normal
I downloaded lightning:
lightning-0.7-tb-linux.xpi
I tried to use the `Plugins' feature of Icedove to load this plugin.
An error message appears about incompatibility with `linux-gnu_x86-gcc3'
Workaround:
mkdir /tmp/lightning
cd /tmp/lightning
unzip ../lightning-0.7-tb-linux.xpi
vi install.rdf
# Modify the targetPlatform line to read like this:
# <em:targetPlatform>linux-gnu_x86-gcc3</em:targetPlatform>
zip -r ../lightning-debian.xpi *
Now the plugin can be installed.
