Package: wwwoffle
Version: 2.8e-3
Severity: wishlist
File: /usr/share/man/man8/wwwoffle-audit-usage.8.gz
To make this work on Debian, the man page should mention this step:
perl -pwe 's/.* (wwwoffle[ds]\[)/$1/' /var/log/daemon.log|wwwoffle-audit-usage
I also tried
tail -f /var/log/daemon.log|
perl -pwe 's/.* (wwwoffle[ds]\[)/$1/'|wwwoffle-audit-usage
to get output in real time but it didn't seem to work.
Also seen on the man page:
wwwoffled -c /var/cache/wwwoffle/wwwoffle.conf -d 4
Not a Debian path.
The debug level needs to be 4 so that the
Mention "4 or above".
/var/cache/htdig default cache directory of htdig
Relevant?
Odd, the bottom of the wwwoffle-* man pages only have a WWWOFFLE(8) in
the right corner. But never mind that. More important is each should
have its proper name instead of all WWWOFFLE(8), e.g.,
WWWOFFLE-AUDIT-USAGE(8).
