The file /usr/share/doc/logrotate/README.Debian mentions sysklogd as other log
rotating
program on a typical Debian system. This was the case in 2006, but in 2011 this

is outdated.

On Debian 6.0 (squeeze) sysklogd is no longer installed by default.
Logging is done by rsyslog, rotating by logrotate.
The comment can be confusing, as it is no longer the typical configuration.
According to http://wiki.debian.org/Rsyslog this was already the case in Debian
5.0.
I would like to ask to change the comment, and change it along the lines of:
"[..] logrotate is not necessarily the only log rotation program [..] In case
sysklogd is installed, it uses its own [..]
This was the case in older Debian versions (< 5.0). [..]"
