After I removed awstats from my system using apt-get remove awstats, I noticed
that I was getting crontab errors. It looks like /etc/cron.d/awstats was
leftover by the removal process.

I will close this bugreport as "not a bug". Use "purge" to
remove configuration files (awstats crontab *is* a configuration
file).
Default crontab should not emit any noise after apt-get remove.
