Hi Dann,
The debian/rules file for systemconfigurator is needlessly complicated
and, as a result, installs the systemconfigutor files into incorrect
locations. You don't need to install into /usr/lib/systemconfigurator.
Also, you don't need to specify all those INSTALL* paths. Please find
attached a diff to debian/rules that accomplishes what you're after in
what I consider a cleaner way.
