When I execute vmstat -p /dev/sda5 (for instance) I always get

Partition not found

when

# cat /proc/partitions
major minor #blocks name

   8 0 244140625 sda
   8 1 234203571 sda1
   8 2 1 sda2
   8 5 9936171 sda5

I'm using Debian Lenny with kernel 2.6.30-bpo.1-amd64

I'm not sure how I missed Alfredo's email, but the vmstat -p problem
with the new kernel format was fixed in procps 3.2.8-10 As he said,
there was a patch (vmstat_part_format) specifically for it.
