Yesterday I marked for installation package A, dependent on B, and
aptitude installed both.
Today I launched aptitude (in curses mode) and marked A for removal:
aptitude wants to remove B too.
Since I still need some files in B, I tried to put it on hold --- as a
reminder to remove it later --- by pressing '=', but it doesn't work:
aptitude still wants to remove B (status stays 'idA'). If I press '_'
on B, and then '=', B's status switches from 'ipA' to 'idA'.
I can provide my dpkg status, sources.list and pkgstates files if
needed.
