Hi,
I was wondering why there were no Debian updates in unstable recently:
(sorry, german output)
# aptitude -dy upgrade
Abh=C3=A4ngigkeitsbaum wird aufgebaut
Lese erweiterte Statusinformationen
Initialisiere Paketstatus... Fertig
Lese Task-Beschreibungen... Fertig
#
So aptitude didn't find anything to upgrade. I became really suspicious,
when it also did not suggest any upgrades for
# aptitude -s -t experimental upgrade
So I tried good old apt-get:
# apt-get -dy upgrade
Paketlisten werden gelesen... Fertig
Abh=C3=A4ngigkeitsbaum wird aufgebaut... Fertig
Sie m=C3=B6chten wahrscheinlich =E2=80=9Eapt-get -f install=E2=80=9C aufr=
ufen, um dies zu
korrigieren.
Die folgenden Pakete haben nichterf=C3=BCllte Abh=C3=A4ngigkeiten:
libapache2-request-perl: H=C3=A4ngt ab: libapreq2 (=3D 2.05-dev-4) ist =
aber
nicht installiert
E: Nichterf=C3=BCllte Abh=C3=A4ngigkeiten. Versuchen Sie, -f zu benutzen.
#
Whoa! Unfullfilled dependencies broke my aptitude uprade!
After "apt-get -f install" aptitude upgrade worked again.
