Package: fglrx-driver

Version: 1:11-11-2
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

   * What led up to the situation?

Log in via KDM to Openbox session. Start Konsole. Konsole window appears
briefly, X restarts, back to login screen.
Log in via KDM to KDE session. Splash screen completes, desktop appears,
applications start appearing, X restarts, back to login screen. In both cases,
Xorg.0.log indicates a segfault in X.

Log in via KDM to Openbox session. Start either amdcccle or Kopete. Application
window appears, X locks up. System stops responding to ping. Alt+SysRq
ineffective, power cycle required.

Previous versions of the fglrx driver have not exhibited this behaviour. Using
X with xserver-xorg-video-radeon does not exhibit this behaviour.
