Subject: should libpng2 conflict with old gimp?
Mime-Version: 1.0

Package: libpng2
Version: 1.0.12-3

It looks like recent versions of libpng2 are not compatible with old versions
of gimp, which depends on libpng2.

Error with gimp when I tried to save an image as a png:
libpng warning: Application was compiled with png.h from libpng-1.0.1
libpng warning: Application is running with png.c from libpng-1.0.12
libpng error: Application must be recompiled; versions <= 1.0.6 were
incompatible

Gimp was Version: 1.0.2-3 from debian Slink (problem would probably also occur
with 1.0.4-3 from Debian potato)
libpng was version 1.0.12-3 (package libpng2) from woody

This bug concerns potato->woody upgrades, I think we can close it now.
