Severity: wishlist
Package: omniidl4
Version: 4.0.6-2

I see that Debian Unstable provides package python2.4-omniorb. However
omniidl4 needs python2.3. I would like to see omniidl4 using python2.4 so
that one does not need top install two different versions of python on the
same host. Is there any technical difficulty about it?.

TIA
 Pablo de Vicente

It needs the default python version, which is 2.3 in sid. This is just
how python in debian works.

What happens if someone uses 2.3?
