While the machine is booting, and checking the root filesystem, fsck fails with
SIG7.  Once into the maintenance shell, all filesystems can be mounted,
unmounted etc. normally, but fsck fails with SIG7 again.

When booting from a rescue CD, in this case the testing snapshot netinst
20100217-22:04, which uses fsck 1.41.9 all filesystems fsck without issues,
until I chroot into my normal structure when fsck fails once again.

If you can tell me what log portions might help I can provide them.
