the default terminal wxt. See attached testcase (archive containing
the testcase and a PNG snapshot of the window showing what I obtain).
You may also try other window sizes: depending on the size, the problem
may occur or not, in various places.

I've redone the test with gnuplot-x11 4.4.0-1.1+b1 and the new
gnuplot packages, and this bug disappeared after upgrading to
4.6.0-1.
