I hope you will be pleased to know that we are working on autobuilding a
graphical version of Debian Installer using libdirectfb.
The current udeb has the following in the control file:
libdirectfb-0.9-22-udeb_0.9.22-7.1_i386.udeb
Depends: libc6 (>= 2.3.5-1), libdirectfb-0.9-22, ...
Having the udeb depend on libdirectfb-0.9-22 makes it impossible to unpack
it as that dependency cannot be satisfied. The dependency is clearly
incorrect as the udeb in effect provides the directfb libraries.
I've temporarily worked around this by adding a "Provides: libdirectfb-0.9-22"
for the udeb, but IMO it would be cleaner to have libdirectfb-0.9-22 removed
from the Depends.
Cheers,
Frans Pop
