Package: krb5-config
Version: 1.6
Severity: normal

        Working with heimdal-kdc 0.6.3 and ssh-krb5 3.8.1p1 it became
necessary to include the following:

[libdefaults]
        default_keytab_name = FILE:/etc/krb5.keytab

        Without this entry sshd was reporting it could not find GSSAPI
credentials to perform Kerberos authentication. Once this entry was
added everything worked correctly. This behavior was duplicated reliably
on 4 different sytems using 2 different Kerberos KDC controlled realms.

        Regards,
        Jeremy

Hi. I asked why this was needed and pointed out that the proposed
configuration was already the default in the code. No response was
forthcoming, so I'm closing the bug.
