Package: iceweasel
Version: 10.0.4esr-3~bpo60+1
Severity: normal
I am currently unable to get Iceweasel to respect the web proxy auto-
discovery files for my intranet. When I select and enter a valid URL
for the 'Automatic proxy configuration URL:' option under Preferences ->
Advanced -> Connection Settings and restart the browser, I am unable to
connect to external sites that require a proxy. Manually specifying
the proxies works as expected (but see Debian bug 525481).
I have tried
- Running with MOZILLA_DISABLE_PLUGINS=1 and -safe-mode
- Clearing my profile in ~/.mozilla
- Upgrading Iceweasel to the latest available release version (13)
I have manually downloaded and inspected the proxy auto-discovery file
(wpad.dat) and am assured that it is correct.
