Package: xul-ext-adblock-plus
Version: alow building and optionally installing without rebuild, on Ubuntu
(firefox vs iceweasel)
Severity: wishlist

Can you support building this source package on Ubuntu where Firefox is called
Firefox with the deps?
they dropped this package, but there is no reason it wont won't work on Ubuntu
besides the name of the dependancys.

Thanks.

adblock-plus uses mozilla-devscripts, which supports building this
package on Ubuntu to get a working package for Ubuntu. You can grab the
source package and build it on Ubuntu without modifications. You can
grab binary packages for Ubuntu from the xul-ext PPA [1].

Debian and Ubuntu are not binary code compatible. Therefore do not
expect that you can install a binary package from Debian on Ubuntu.

You can build a adblock-plus binary package, that can be installed on
Debian and Ubuntu, by setting DH_XUL_EXT_VENDOR=all or calling
dh_xul-ext with --all in debian/rules.
