If a message is search, and the sender contains a Nordic char, in this
case, Ø (HTML-ent: Oslash ), and it searched for ø (HTML-ent oslash),
the search result in no hits. With letters from a-z and A-Z the search
is not case sensitive.

Hello, there is no feedback from the reporter over years. The current
versions of icedove are fare away from the reported version. So I think
the problem is gone and I will close this bug.
