Package: mozilla-thunderbird
Version: 1.0-3
Error Description
-----------------
I am unable to send mails in ISO-2022-JP or Shift_JIS character encoding.
When trying to send a mail in this encodings I get the warning message
"The message you composed contains characters not found in the selected
Character Encoding. [...]". wich I can only cancel (returning to edit
the message) or send the mail in UTF-8 instead.
This fails always. Even for an empty mail.
Other asian encodings seem to suffer the same problem (not further
investigated). But EUC-JP works.
The same problem is found in mozilla-mailnews 2:1.7.5-1, evolution
(1.4.6-5) works
