Crusader Kings patch 1.04a can be played whith an X screen depth of 16 bpp, but
will hang with a screen depth of 24 bpp. It seems that the game is somehow
unable to change the depth. The hanging will take place just after the scenario
has been read, right before actual gameplay starts.
