Package: libtrash
Version: 0.8-1
Severity: wishlist

It'd be nice if libtrash provided some sort of diagnostic mode where
it prints to stderr the reason for a failure. This could perhaps be
turned on with an environmental variable. I recently had this happen:

volition:/etc# mv X11/XftConfig.example X11/XftConfig
mv: cannot move `X11/XftConfig.example' to `X11/XftConfig': Permission denied

and have no idea. I worked around it by hardrm'ing the target file
first, but it'd be nice to be able to understand the reason for the
failure so I can correct them underlying problem.
