Package: xarchiver
Version: 0.4.6-7
Severity: normal
Hi!
On my system, xarchiver always segfaults when opening a .deb package if
no path is specified on the command line.
Example:
$ xarchiver /var/cache/apt/archives/adduser_3.105_all.deb -> OK
$ cd /var/cache/apt/archives
$ xarchiver ./adduser_3.105_all.deb -> OK
$ xarchiver adduser_3.105_all.deb -> segault
I could reproduce this bug wit all deb packages I found, wherever they
were located on my system.
Opening tar or tgz archive the same way (without a path) worked
flawlessly.
Feel free to tell me if you need more information.
Cheers,

Hi,
apparently this bug is solved in 1:0.5.2+20090319+dfsg-4: I retested
with the example provided in the initial bug report, and it now works
in all cases.
I guess it was probably fixed a long time ago but nobody had retested
before.
=> This bug can probably be closed.
