Package: freeswan
Severity: wishlist

The openswan package exists in both unstable and stable, but not in
testing (at least on i386). This sounds extremely curious : while I am not
an expert on Debian distribution system, ISTU that testing should have
either the old "stable" version or, after a while without critical bugs,
the new "unstable" version.

Is there a stumbling block specific to testing ?

Are there plans to get this package back to testing ?

Sincerely,

                                        Emmanuel Charpentier

At the moment it will be the libssl0.9.8 transition.

Definitly, but filing bug reports against this package will not help with=20
that.... Closing this bug report now, since it is not really a bug in the=20
package, but it is just waiting for the libssl transition (and enough=20
non-RC-bugs days to enter testing).
