Package: gimp-plugin-registry
Version: 5.20120621
Severity: normal

In the past I have used the resynthetizer plugin to awesome effect. But
now I can't make it work, at all.

I am trying to follow the tutorial here to the letter:

http://www.schwarzvogel.de/resynth-tut-sa.shtml

When I make a rectangular selection hugging the watermark text in the
bottom left corner, then apply resynthetizer, _nothing_ happens. Which
is the same as I get with my own images :-(

Maybe I need to change something in the settings, but the explanations
in the dialog itself are very cryptic and I don't know of any
documentation :-(

Yes, this explanation seems right. When I use a separate layer as the
source, it works as expected. Go ahead and close the bug if you like.
