Hi maintainer,

A few years ago a patch was posted to wget upstream implementing SNI (Server Name Indication) support. Would you please consider including this patch in the Debian package?

http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/bug-wget/2009-03/msg00033.html
https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?func=detailitem&item_id=26786

It hasn't seen a lot of discussion (the Savannah bug notes one obvious typo and then comments on GNU style and copyright assignment, neither of which should be relevant for including a patch in the Debian package), and looks short enough to be "obviously correct". I'm not sure why it hasn't been included upstream.

If you'd like, I can prepare a debdiff and do some testing.

Thanks,
