Package: mysql-server-5.0
Version: 5.0.32-7etch1
Severity: normal

Hi,
I've just upgraded from sarge 4.1 to etch 5.0

I'm trying to run mysql_upgrade per README.Debian but it doesn't work.

tatooine:~# mysql_upgrade -u root -p
Enter password:
ERROR 1045 (28000): Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password:
NO)
Error executing '/usr/bin/mysql --force --no-auto-rehash --batch --user=root
mysql < /usr/share/mysql/mysql_fix_privilege_tables.sql'

While passing --verbose resolves the problem!!

mysql_upgrade -u root --verbose -p > /dev/null
Enter password:

The file /usr/share/mysql/mysql_fix_privilege_tables.sql no longer seems
to exist and I cannot find any issue so closing this as old and irrelevant.
