Package: einstein

Severity: wishlist

Einstein is a very nice puzzle, but there's one thing that annoys me about it:
It's not possible to "try" something. With an undo stack, this would be
possible:

- Every move is allowed, no information is given about correctness of it.
- Every move can be undone, and whole situations can be marked so as to make
"undo until marked situation" possible as a simple operation.
- There is a "commit" button, which makes the changes permanent. If something
was wrong, this is the moment you lose. The undo stack is cleared at commit
(since no undo is needed: it is given to be correct so far).

This would also solve the problem that misclicking makes you lose the game.

Thanks,
Bas

I'm not convinced that the game needs this, and upstream doesn't seem to have
time to develop this. If you want to develop this, you can offer your help to
upstream.
