pdnsd does some horrible things in its maintainer scripts:
* prerm unconditionally removes the conffile
/etc/NetworkManager/dispatcher.d/002_NetMan_pdnsd
(#689537) which is then reinstated out of the new package on upgrades.
The contents of the files in squeeze and wheezy are the same but this
obviously does not respect local admin changes.
* edits /etc/default/pdnsd which is a conffile in postinst.
* postinst does not respect maintainer changes to /etc/default/pdnsd
The package will require substantial changes to the maintainer scripts to
fix these problems and this is unlikely to be acceptable for wheezy.
The package is now orphaned and has been maintained by NMU for some time.
The package has no reverse-depends or reverse-recommends.

With uploads fixing the RC-bugs in pdnsd, it only needs a new maintainer not a
new maintainer and lots of bug fixes. No reason to push for removal at this
stage.
