When trying to save filters using ldap pref backend, the message below
appears, and the filters are not saved:
"The preferences backend is currently unavailable and your preferences
have not been loaded. You may continue to use the system with default
settings."
After searching the web, I found the following bug report:

Applying the patches attached to the bug report solved the problem.

Hi,
I'm closing all those bugs on Horde 3 packages. Horde 3 will not be in Wheezy.
Horde 5 is currently packaged as php-horde* packages in unstable. You
can test if the bug is still there and report in case it is.
