When using the NPTL libc6 (/lib/tls/i686/cmov/libc.so.6) aviplay hangs
randomly. This happens most frequently when seeking (pgup/pgdn for
instance -- I can reproduce it every time).
Using LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.4.22 makes it work as before NPTL.

some times until it got stuck, clicked on the window close button on the
video window (nothing happened), then clicked on the window close button
on the controls window (crashed with a core dump))
