Package: squeeze
Version: 0.2.3-12
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

   * What led up to the situation?

Completely removing the package from Synaptic.

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?

I removed the package using Synapctic.

   * What was the outcome of this action?

The package was removed but it left a file under my user's home
(~/.config/squeeze/squeezerc).

   * What outcome did you expect instead?

Any related file is removed.

There's no way a Debian package will ever touch a file in your home,
especially not removing it.

And for the software itself, well, it's hard for it to know when it's
being removed, so it can't really do anything about that.
