Package: iscsitarget-dkms

Version: 1.4.20.2-10.1

Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

I was installing iscsitarget-dkms on a brand new Wheezy system.

In aptitude I disable the feature 'Install recommended packages automatically'

when installing the package I received the error

---snip---

Setting up iscsitarget-dkms (1.4.20.2-10.1) ...

Creating symlink /var/lib/dkms/iscsitarget/1.4.20.2/source ->

                 /usr/src/iscsitarget-1.4.20.2

DKMS: add completed.

Error! Your kernel headers for kernel 3.2.0-4-amd64 cannot be found.

Please install the linux-headers-3.2.0-4-amd64 package,

or use the --kernelsourcedir option to tell DKMS where it's located

Press Return to continue.

---end snip---

Since the kernel headers are required for this package to install properly

maybe consider making the linux-headers package a depends package.

Thank you,

Conrad

It Recommends linux-headers packages, which is a virtual package
provided by the actual linux-headers-* packages.
It is not a dependency, because as a power user you know you can have
other ways to use it, using the --kernelsourcedir option.

Closing this bug report.
