Version: 1.0.6106-3
Severity: important

Hi,

I upgrade yesterday to new testing nvidia-glx package and when I start
my computer this morning, X don't run anymore (I use Gnome and gdm),
screen stay black, and nothing is displayed (virtual linux console
still exists and could get input, but no display at all !).
I tried startx with the same result.
Logs shows just X server can't load nvidia module, whereas modprobe load
it without any error :

(EE) NVIDIA(0): Failed to initialize the NVIDIA kernel module!
(EE) NVIDIA(0): *** Aborting ***
(EE) Screen(s) found, but none have a usable configuration.

(it's an old xdm log)

Revert to 1.0.5336-11 version make everything work fine.

Regards.
