Package: lxc
Version: 0.8.0~rc1-8+deb7u1
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,
I'm setting up a debian container and upon finishing the container
creation (and in addition to other errors already fixed in next
packages version as seen on the bts), my system gets its keymap
changed.

I also tried that with a previously configured container: lxc-start
starts the system in the container but also changes my keymap.

Even more: loadkeys fr tells me "cannot open file fr"...

Restoring the keymap from inside the container fixes the problem.
Not doing it results in an unchangeable keymap.

no, because you share the same physical keyboard. and the default
behaviour of all keyboard layout related packages is that they do not
change the current layout, so unless you want it to be changed (and
therefore change it manually to do so through the various mechanisms
that lxc-debconfig provides) you will not end up with a changed layout
on the host system.

there's nothing to be done on lxc, therefore closing the bug.
