Package: nocache
Version: 0.8+git20130430-1
Severity: normal

Dear Dmitry,

The manpage states that -n would call fadvise mutiple times, but I get:

mango:~# nocache -n 5 cp /sbin/fdisk /dev/null
/usr/bin/nocache: 3: exec: -n: not found

This is due to an outdated start script. The packages includes:

mango:~# cat /usr/bin/nocache
#!/bin/sh
export LD_PRELOAD="/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/nocache/nocache.so ${LD_PRELOAD}"
exec "$@"

Upstream has:

#!/bin/sh
NOCACHE_PATH=$(dirname "$0")
libnocache="$NOCACHE_PATH/nocache.so"

export LD_PRELOAD="$libnocache $LD_PRELOAD"

if [ "$1" = "-n" ]; then
export NOCACHE_NR_FADVISE="$2"
    shift 2
fi

exec "$@"

(see https://github.com/Feh/nocache/blob/master/nocache)

Thanks,
Martin
