I have worked on a package for gitolite g3 done by myself.
https://github.com/mtelleria/gitolite3-debian-packaging
It still has some lintian problems but it is (in my opinion) fully
functional.
The two git branches of the repository (miguel-debian) and
(miguel-upstream) start with the "debian" and "master" ones that exist
in git://git.deb.at/pkg/gitolite.git, so they could be easily appended
there.
Could this work be merged in Gerfried's packaging.
