Dear Maintainer,

nm-applet crashes when connecting to an access point that doesnt have the
password in the configuration file with this error:

   (nm-applet:6299): GLib-GIO-ERROR **: Settings schema 'org.gnome.nm-
applet.eap' is not installed

I have tried recompiling the schema with
/usr/bin/glib-compile-schemas /usr/share/glib-2.0/schemas >/dev/null 2>&1
with no success.
I have also tried reinstalling the package

You've mixed the different versions.
Please downgrade libnm-gtk0 to version 0.9.4.1-5 or upgrade
network-manager-gnome to 0.9.8.2-1
